When I started to translate / sub this clip, I thought this guy, Heipo, was just some asshole comedian. Upon a little research here's what I found about Heipo;
*He owns an entertainment production company
*According to Matsumoto, Heipo is "super" wealthy. His income is easily more than that of chief producer of Gaki No Tuskai series.
*He has appeared on many of "Gaki No Tsukai" TV shows.
I guess this guy's M.O. is to be as blatantly rude as possible which, seems to work for some people. Just not my cup of tea.

2) Wow never knew Heipo was so rich. I always thought he was the gutless, weak and stupid guy on GnT.
I always wondered if the Heipo thing was an act. He always seemed like a perverted, cowardly jerk to me.
The whole Heipo thing references previous shows where he acts perversely towards female celebs and asks the Gaki team to help patch things up. Much of the same thing happens.
Heipo is the director of the show I think. They bring him in because (in previous skits) he has no idea how to treat women. He's also overreacts to everything and is a huge scaredy cat. I don't think rude is quite the right word because when he appears on Gaki skits he's always the one abused by the rest of the members. If you watched the 24 hour tag (on Hulu now) the Gaki members completely manhandle him and throw pie in his face.
LOL! o yeh i remember the 24hour tag. Heipo messes up quite a few times in that show LOL. Yeh i always thought hes the scaredy cat. For example in Matsumoto's haunted house bit. He comes out to scare him but only to get scared himself.
I think part of the joke is that Heipo does perverted things to girls and then writes an "apology" letter. But the letter always ends up with him trying to justify his actions by calling the woman a slut and gold digger.
Ding ding ding.. you guys are correct. That was one of Heipo's skit. And, all the women that were in the skit are all famous too.
I think the idea behind it is the fact that he has no social skill and just a weirdo in general. But, he seems genuinely wanted to have a relationship with the women (although his perverted desire tends to take over).
and, speaking that direct in Japanese culture is a bit daring. Hence, the irony of "humor" lies in the fact that Heipo breaks the taboo. So, he looked more stupid in Japanese culture than to come of as "rude" in the eye of American culture.
Yes heipo is the director of the show.

Oh, I don't know, that was pretty funny I thought. "Climbing the career ladder with only her boobs" made me literally LOL (a bit like Matsumoto).

That was hilarious. I know Heipo was "insulting" Megumi, but how did she keep a straight face throughout?
How do any of those people keep straight faces through these things? You see a few crack up here and there, but I don't think I would survive as long as some of those extras do.
I pity fujiwara who keeps standing in the back trying to hold back his laughter. He's sucha cute guy lols.

According to Wikipedia, Heipo's real name is Toshihide SaitÅ and he works as both set designer and assistant director of the show.
