Konnichiwa from Japan

Just wanted let everyone know that I'm vacationing in Japan right now. I'm slightly haveing a case of jetlag which has been working on my advantage in that I'm ready to start my day by 6:00am everyday.

Anyhow, I'll be back on subbing in early October.
Hope everyone's doing well.

(Police 13) Shiritori

Shiritori is a well-known word game played in Japan.
You would need at least two people to play this game.
First player would start by blurting out a word (only nouns.)
Next player will have to keep the game alive by blurting out another word which starts with the same KANA (or alphabet)which was used to end the word the preceding player used. Let's see an example:

--->んご

First word is read "tori" means "bird" and the second word is read "ringo" meaning an "apple." As you can see, the second player has to use the word that starts with Japanese Kana "り"

And here's a clip of one of the most famous singers in Japan, Keisuke Kuwata

Enjoy!

If you're fan of anything Downtown, or Gaki no Tsukai, for that matter, check it out.

I know I'm a little behind on my translation, but stay tuned, it'll be up in no time.
