For the "old school joke": in fact Takeuchi Yuko is the name of a cute young actress who has done dramas and movies, that's why the comparison is quite funny when you see the opposition with the manly looks Takeuchi Riki has.

Mmm. I'm sorry if the part of "old-school joke" is causing some questions and confusions.

Matsumoto is merely pointing out the fact that this macho looking guy is introducing himself as someone who is a complete opposite (looks wise) than him, but with same family name, to solicit laughs. It's a childish and not polished or sophisticated way to get laughs, and it's been around for a while.
